about downgrade and restore

Hi to all of you! I have a question. I want to downgrade my xperia sp to 4.1.2 but i want my contact,messages,settings etc. If i make a back-up for them will i be able to restore them?if not, is there a way to do it?

If you back them up with the preloaded backup & restore app and/or PCC, you won't be able to restore them
