Can't update xperia arc S

Hi!

I have an xperia arc S and I would like to update it to ICS. I have a macbook so I'm using bridge for mac. I have recovered it to factory settings and Bridge is downloading the "update engine" and finally gives the following problem (at the end of the download): "failed launch ue code 5".

What should I do?

As someone who has flashed there Arc S back to Gingerbread from ICS, all I can say is Arc S hardware isnt up to the job of running ICS.

Even when rooted & all the bloatware removed Sony ICS on the Arc S is still painfully slow.
