Hi everybody and Merry Christmas
Appologies if this has been posted before, but i could not find anything in the forum. The problem is that i cannot restore my xperia sp from the backups that i have in my pc companion.
I had some issues and i decided to reset the phone and then to use the backup to return it to its previous condition.
i can restore the texts, calls, contacts but not the apps, settings and other data like notes, wallpapers etc. i have tried the procedure several times using different backups ( i do one every week almost) and even when the pc companion shows that everything has been restored when i check the phone nothing has changed and then phone is still with the factory settings...
If anybody could help i would appreciate it.
Thanks
Can you select just the apps?
I can but it does not do anything at all. It cannot restore the apps because the apps are not installed in the phone... OF course they are not installed. That's the point of the reset. What's is the point of backing up the apps if you cannot restore them, unless they already exist in the phone? Kind of major fail for SONY.
Anyway the apps are not the problem. Most of them can be restored from google play. The problem is all the small things that can take hours to be fixed manually, like notes, wallpapers, themes etc.
I have found all these in the backup in my laptop and i just wonder if they can be restored manually somehow and not through the PC companion.
PCC just backup a list of the apps NOT the app itself.
