ERROR- camera not available...problem continues even after two replacements from SONY

I earlier had a problem in my xperia U- the screen went black..and displayed later   -"ERROR, camera not available"...I updated the firmware but it was of no use...The service centre repaired the software...Still the problem continued...Next, my fon's motherboard was replaced by sony...still all in vain.

Finally, after a horrible customer service experience, Sony gave me a completely new handset...still many a times, I face the same problem, though many of my friends who also use an xperia U don't find themselves in such a situation...Can anyone tell me where exactly the problem lies?? I am totally fed up of this thing and have started to hate SONY and their products....

Hi, I have been able to get my phone in safe mode. The camera works in safe mode. How do I resolve the problem in normal mode

Update to my previous post:

I booted back in normal mode, camera worked but kept saying "could not save". The images were taking a long time to save but eventualy it is now working, both still and video.

There are some teethng problems I have faced since the ICS update. The camera issue happens again and again. Previously, I used the software repair option where is wipes out everything and reinstalls. Not the best solution offered by sony to resolve problems.

Oh goodness, my apologies if I am spamming this thread but right after posting my previous thread and retrying a video, the same error came up AGAIN!!

Remove that camera app from system and install other camera app from play store..
My problem is solved..

I just found it today..
And u have to make your phone rooted to remove app from system ( do google search )
