Face pattern lock problem

After enabling the face lock, sometimes this lock fails to lauch the front camera and ask for the face recognition. and as an alternative i gave the pattern lock, and this is being asked as a first option to unlock even though the face recognition is enabled. Do any1 have this problem? And Sony expert, is there any remedy to fix this?

First just try to reboot the phone. Then check if any app's are running as Device Administrator in the phone.(Settings > Security).

If you have any app's listed under DA, try to disable it and check if you notice any difference.
