How does a SD card work?

Last I bought a SD card, but how can I transfer apps and songs to the SD card?

Only songs, images and videos on external sd
Apps are limited to phone memory and internal sd

Also, downloads go to the internal memory by default (and you can't change that). Use either a different download manager or transfer them manually to the external sd card.

I downloaded X-plore file manager and transfer files from the sd card (internal memory) to ext card (external memory) with ease 🙂
