Internet stops working after "Data roaming" notification

Every day when I cross a particular area while going to college, the data roaming notification (the triangle with the ! sign) comes up. After that, I have to restart the phone for internet to work. Otherwise, it says "connection lost" or "unable to connect to the Internet". Even enabling the data roaming in the mobile network settings doesn't solve it. Only a restart of the phone makes it work.

Are there any settings I need to change for it to work?

It sounds like your network operator might be using some other operators network in that specific area, and I'm not sure if problem you run into is cause by the phone or network so I suggest that you try to troubleshoot this using another SIM card to see if the same problem can be replicated.

Now that I come to think of it, yeah, in my old phone I do remember the network name changing in that area.

Is there no other solution to this other than changing the SIM? It's kind of a hassle having to switch off and on again every time this happens.

Hey man, even I face this problem everyday, or at least once in two days, but whenever I come across this problem i.e., "Internet not working when roaming symbol comes up", all I do is, just turn on the Airplane mode and then switch it off.. After that, your Internet Connection will be back..

No need to remove sim card or even switching off your cell is also not necessary.. 

Worked fine for me, let me know how it worked out for you..

Sir, instead of giving such advices about changing the sim card and all, could you guys please work on the real problem here and give us a solution to all these problems we are facing due to your Tipo?

We trust Sony, so we bought Tipo, we can get cell phones at this price-range in other brands as well and that too with better options, but we went for "Sony Xperia Tipo", why? Coz we trust the name Sony.

So please instead of giving us temporary solutions, give us permament ones for problems of tipo like the Echo Problem during a call, this roaming comes-internet goes off thing.

Hope the next update or some kind of patch solves all this problems.

My data roaming does not work whenever I move out of the home network circle. I have airtel service provider. Although roaming is on in the mobile & from airtel there is network everywhere out of home circle the data roaming does not work. I am pretty sure its a problem with tipo. Kindly solve this asap
