Hello there and welcome to the forum.

I have an X10 large so slightly different so  how about just touching the screen and moving your finger up so that it scrolls?  Does that help?  Or tap on the screen to open up a fuller box?

Let us know how you get on.

thats right, but you have to touch & swipe very quick to move the text, otherwise if you're not quick enought the "magnifier" opens.

Thanks everybody,

I go into messages from home page, tap on the message that I want to read and just part of the message shows. If I tap or swipe it I get forward message or delete message . I know there is more message to read but cant get to it.

If you tap the message does it give you the option to download or have you done this step already?  I can't understand why the message is not there for you to see.

If you have access to the Android Market try downloading an app called Handcent SMS, its free and its pretty good.  If you like it and want to keep it then remember to turn off messaging notifications in the stock messaging app by Settings>Sony Ericsson>Messaging otherwise you will receive 2 notifications each time a message arrives.

Let me know how it goes.

did you talk about e-mail or sms?

In the sms menü you see conversations and if you choose one you can see all messages in a row as ballons, there you can swipe up and down to read older or newer messages. Longer messages don't get cropped (f.ex with "...") If you reseive a message ends with "...", than the message could be corrupt.

Hey lee glad you got sorted.  Can you explain what the problem was, how you resolved it etc.  This is useful info not only for me to pass on but also if someone comes across your thread via the search function if they are having the same problem.

Thanks!
