P1 - problems!

Hi, i got few problems

1. No network signal - "Sim Card error, please contact service provider".

    I need to Off and On again to get the network (celcom)

    But, back to no network signal in 1-2 hour.

2. When in the network mode, I can't make a call out. But I can sms/mms.

3. This is the 2nd time occured, previously I reinstall the software but all the contact numbers

    in  memory card lost. How can i preserve the contact numbers?

4. Do i need to reinstall P1 software?

You can copy your contacts to the SIM card and/or back them up onto PC suite from the phone memory.Try re-running the SE Update service and if that fails to solve the problem, try a master reset.

OR copy your contacts first from memory of your phone to sim card. Then do the update. ANd are you sure that you did not barred all outgoing calls? There is a setting for that. maybe someone might activated it.
