some update

what has just happened, i noticed i had a update due on my phone so i updated it.........now, how can i revert it? funny thing, i had a nokia n8 and their stupid updates slowly but surely stuffed the phone up and if sony is going to go down the same route then Ebay it goes. i am more than angry, fripping thing wont cheap grrrr grrr grrr grrr grrr

i did it though my sony pc thing, did my backup/restore with it also.

That is the way it is made,with cookies remove.No,PC companion is not fake.Both are sony programs.But SUS is more of an update engine and PCC is more of a file explorer,support and backup.

the pc companion popped up to tell me there was a update which i followed and installed it

No,the updates are identical.But people claim SUS installs and gives better overall results,that is all.I have only used PCC for all my updates(I have Xperia P) and never encountered any problem.

the only issue is no sound on my notifications at present, even after setting the sound it seems to revert back to the 'none' setting. i have opened that sus, it lists 5 different Z1's so im stuffed already
