Sony Xperia Tipo Camera Error

For some reason when I open the camera app, it comes up with a black screen. I have tryed reseting the phone update using Companion, but the camera still doesn't work. Please let me know if there is a solution o this problem.

settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything

is there anything covering the lens and/or around the lens?

yes there was a blue plastic see hrough thing, i just took it out. still ge black screen however when i now press capture picture nothing happens, not even the error i had before. going to try the service test next.

no unfortunatly the same, a black screen, i tap the preview and capture option but nothing happens

try a different camera app and also try a different SD card

ah I think there may be somthing loose, because I just tapped around the camera area lightly and the camera now works (kinda strange) but I'll see how it goes if it starts acting up agin then i'll take back. (you never know maybe sothing was blocking the connection of the phone to the camera)

anyway thnks for the help, really appreciate it :smileygrin:
