Vivaz GPS help please

Hello. I'm new here and finding it dificult to find out where to post questions? not sure if I'm in the correct section or not?

Could someone tell me what the GPS COM port and BAUD rate are for the sony Vivaz?

Hi,

Are you trying to connect to an application or hardware device? I believe Symbian will have dedicated COM ports for these things. Our Whitepaper may help.

Got it sorted now. If you don't let it connect to network for a GPS signal it takes about 20 minutes to get a signal.

To fix the assistance data:

press Red Green Red Red Green Rred.  (Note two reds in the middle)

Go to "Service tests " option

Go to "GPS" option (oh, the list isn't alphabetically sorted)

Select "Purge Assistance data".

This made mine seem alot more sensitive and pick signals up very quickly
