Hello!
We just bought 2 brand new Xperia P, and we have the exact same problem on both phones:
We connect to a wifi network after that i can't disable the wireless, i have to switch off the phone.
Latest software version updated in both phones, and "factory reset" phones... both of them...
AND it also happens in a Xperia SOLA we bought in October.
If the phone "looses" signal from a wifi network it is connected to, it will not connect to another network anymore, we cannot switch the wifi off. Only restarting the phone will work...
did you tried repairing it? if it didn't resolve the problem. bring it to sony service center. they will fix your problem.
Hello. Yes, I have already made the "repair" procedure 2 or 3 times by now. It does work, but only for a few days. This is not a solution, to keep on "formating" the phone every week or so.
The problem is occuring in TWO brand new Xperia P, and on a Sola. And lot's of other people in the forum / web are also complaing about the exact same issues.
Hi, I am having exactly the same problem. I have a Sony Xperia U. This phone is not the most up-to-date and therefore I would have thought by now that Sony would have found a solution to this problem. Come on Sony!!! Sort this out. It is a bind having to shut down the phone just so that you can log onto another wifi hotspot.
