x10 mini language problem

i know someone has answered my question about the language problem, but i just can't reply there for some reasons, so i have to start a new one.:smileycry:

i already changed the language and location in 'settings', but it doesn't seem to be helpful! i still can't type chinese when i'm sending a msg!!!! pls help me!!!!!

Friend, I think Xperia does not support Chinese language yet. To see and type Chinese you want the font installed. This cannot be done unless you have root access. Rooting the phone can cause problems. So it’s better to wait for the update and hope for a change.

You may have already tried this but if you long press in the text input box you should receive a pop up that says input method, if you select that and then select Chinese Keyboard does this help?  Or are you on the Chinese keyboard anyway? I have an X10 large so this may be one of those differences so if the information is not good for your phone I apologise.

I've tried before, but there was no option for chinese, it wasn't helpful at all. I guess this is one of the differences compare to x10. But thanks anyway!
