Xperia ray - black screen

Hello

I have problems with my xperia ray it has black screen after standby but it have black screen with backlight and you can still use the keypad. It works normally (for a while ; /) when you put out and in the battery. It vibrate when you press keys under screen and light is on. You can open music, videos making calls etc but still it has black screen. I read many topics about similiar (or even the same) problem but I have no idea why this happens.

Its annoying because I had that phone only a week and I never dropped it or hit etc.

Someone have idea how to repair this?

repair it with either PCC or SUS if the problem persists take it back to the store

Well... I repaired this with Update service but that black screen still happen.

Maybe I really should send it back where I bought it.

But still its little stupid because I had this phone only a week and it doesn't work correctly ; /

I am too facing similar issue. It started from few seconds, now its time is increasing for come to normal screen from blank screen after standby. For me, its started the day, i bought and pair new bluetooth headset from Sony. MW600. . But the issue is just not limited to us, i have read 100 of posts of such poor people, who have shown faith in sony. Now they are trying hard to get it resolved but all in vain. I have seen many people personally, i think the issue persists with only Sony and specific to their xperia line up phones. After a few weeks, months, most of the xperia user have to face the issue. Even people from sony are not sure about the root of this problem. Sony guys pls help us

I facing same problem too but I try press power button several time and it back normal again, I don't cause the problem, it started a few month ago can Sony fix this problem?

Same story here just as everyone, I call their support (hungary) and they told me the regular sony bull**bleep**, restore by their crappy update sw (which will slow your PC rapidly), and the promissing me a call back in a week. They call me 3 weeks later (great and accurate work) and asking me if I could fix the phone or not? I just laught I told no I still have the same blank screen issue, than they told me if I would have warnity they might replace it, I told her I don't have it, she could only SAY SORRY BUY A NEW PHONE !!!! **bleep** ?

So you know what I did? 

I took their advice!

I bought a new phone (apple) and break this piece of **bleep** sony into pieces ! that's what it deserves 

also an other benefit: meanwhile I googled after a solution for my problem I realised THERE'S THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE LATTEST MOST EXPENSIVE SONY PHONES TOO called the SLEEP OF DEATH

So, is Sony even paying attention here. I have sent my Xperia Ray to Sony but they couldn't find anything wrong??? I will send it again and I'm hoping they will replace the phone because I have had it with this ! No help at all from Sony www regarding this issue also! Will post again once have more news...
