After update to N, multiple problems

Hey, so after the recent update on my xperia z5, whenever im listening to something like soundcloud and i get a notification the medis sound drops completely, before it was for a moment, but now it stays low until i remove the notification. The the new layout of the top buttons is a mess as well, why did you even change it? Now you have to click 2 more times to open a wifi or turn something on. Its just annoying. Then the square button, to close recent apps, why is the the app that im using so low on the screen, maybe i want to close it, not the app i was using before first.. And then the battery, i can barely hold 6h, have to bring a charger to work now.. Well i had the phone for more than a year now, so its not the update but still..

I believe what you posted is valuable but you have to understand that Android is designed by Google, not Sony. Sony can do so much to improve the experience but if the foundations are weak it's going to be hard to fix them.

About your issues with the battery, you may want to check what app exactly is draining it. It's not a matter of age, I have a Z3c and a C5 that hold the charge very well.

During the update from MM to N some apps or system components can remain stuck/misconfigured. Now you could try to clear cache of all apps but my advice for you is to perform a backup and then a software repair. Once you repair your software using XC try to use the phone a couple of days with stock applications and check battery life. If it's improved then start reinstalling all apps.
