Help! Body name is MODEL-NAME

hello so my ILCE-6000 isnt recognising its self and thinks its called MODEL-NAME instead of ILCE-6000 and because of it i cant download any apps or connect it to the app downloader

please help.

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

There is no factory reset, only settings reset and initialize. So a bit stuck
