It appears that the home button is no longer functional following the recent software upgrade and either is the TV button for factory reset. Very frustrating with Sony at the moment one problem after another with this new TV. Factory reset or phone technical help has been no good either, I'm guessing a software bug or something....
There was an engineer scheduled to take a look but no need as I seem to have managed to sort it my self. Press and hold the controller power putton for about 15 seconds and the TV does a factory reset and boots up in the Home menu page. Go to settings at the bottom, select TV and go along to initial settings and initiate which goes through some set-up things then done, problem now solved.
