screen would not dispay after call is dialled. Re installed phone software, tested it with sony diagnotics, worked in 1 out of 4 or 5 instances I ran the test.
Any solutions?
As I filed A Complaint Aginst them And Sent A court Notice To Them.
They Called Me yesterday And Are Saying that We have Got A New Phone for You and Said Kindly Come And Take it.
I refused that because i want a compensation for the earlier harrasment and wastage of my time.

Even i am facing the same issue, i have not til yet visited the service centre, tomorrow i ll be visiting. And even i do not want repaired motherboard. I want a replacement. What the is this? why would i get my mobile repaired when its hardly a month old?
I will visit service centre tomorrow and if they do not give me replacement then i ll contact you and will raise consumer complaints.
I am facing same problem, whenever i call its screen goes dark. even after pressing power button briefly it does not get on. i cannot use IVRS system provided by many companies.
For me this phone is of no use untill it make basic feature of mobile correctly.
sony must provide solution to this problem, either find solution to this problem or bring back this phone and refund each one money.
i have purchased xperia c on 6thNov 2013, My phones screen won't come back on after making a call seems to be a proximity sensor fault also my phone screen is lose from both the upper corner,
As soon as I press the call button the screen goes blank & wont come back untill the person i called doesnt hang up the phone,
i have visited service center in aurangabad(maharashtra) for two times but didnt get the replacement or repair,& moreover than when i called sony customer care they informed me that your phone has not submitted to service center, my phone is at service center from last one month,after such a aservice , i am not intrested to take it back & dont want to continue sony product,
can any one help me about how can i get my money refund??????

I bought my XperiaC C2305 on 19/11/2013. I am facing proximity sensor issue from the very first day..
I have submitted my phone for the 4th time in service center for the same issue but still no solution for it.
I am planning to go to consumer forum for it..I am very much frustrated from the service and faulty handset of SONY...I need
help urgently... I need my money refunded.. Whats the use even after spending 20K for a smart phone,still its in service center. My phone is more in service center rather than with me..

I think we,all Xperia C users should together place a complaint against this SONY brand..There are truly gone case.
Today when i went to a service center in thane,Maharashtra, the manager started explaining me about different causes for failure of proximity sensor but there areyet unable to find the solution. Instead of troubling the customer and spoiling your goodwill, I suggest you to do research and find the solution. And did anyone got any solution either repair,refund or replacement??

The problem i am facing are:
1) All the personaltization on my xperia C reset such as icon placing, widgets on different home screen gets removed after every restart. Only preinstalled apps icons remain there. Its really very irritating and disappointing as its a new phone.
2) I have many times tried and changed the general ringtone to a song in my sd card and also another ringtone for some of the contacts but the ringtone keeps changing back to unknown or default tone. Its really annoying me now.
Please don't tell me to transfer the apps or the songs ringtones to internal memory as there is not that much of available there.
3) About 0.90GB of internal memory is being displayed available in my phone but whenever i try to shift some application to internal memory it shows that the memory is low.
4) The so called 8 megapixel camera is not good at all whenever you try to take pics by zooming the pixels get distorted resulting in a blurry/unclear pic. The front camera is also really bad.
5) While recording videos the capture is not full hd as it is stated for xperia c and one major issue the sound captured while recording the videos is very low you can hardly hear anything even on full volume when playing the recorded video.
6) While calling the screen disappears which is due to proximity sensor but when you remove the phone from your ear the screen should come back again but it doesn't. So, we are not able to disconnect the phone. You have to wait for the call to get disconnected itself and then you have to use the power key to bring the screen up again. Even the power key doesn't help when the call is on.
Wasn't the phone tested at all by sony before launching ? it sure does seem that it wasn't tested. 20,000 Rs. is not a small amount for a smartphone and when there are alot of other options available i choose sony but, what i got really disappoints me.
I have gone to support forums and found that same problems are being faced by consumers allover the globe and that too for months now but, sony hasn't come out with any solution or update for the same. This is really not expected from sony.
I have myself posted in forums but no reply received.
I m really diappointed with these issues as i expected alot from sony that why i bought this phone, i trusted the brand but facing these issues in a new phone is really very very disappointing.
