proximity sensor issue on Xperia C

screen would not dispay after call is dialled. Re installed phone software, tested it with sony diagnotics, worked in 1 out of 4 or 5 instances I ran the test.

Any solutions?

I am having the problem "Screen blackout while calling"

Unfortunately I bought the phone yesterday.

just take ur fone to service centre n tell them to change the display....the proximity sensor issue  arising in the fone is because of manufacturind defect of fixing display... i got my fone 2 days before from the service centre....they changed the display n now its working very fine without any issues

Most of the guys in the forum has udated their Xperia C to the latest firmware 16.0.B.2.6.

1)Its sad to report that the Battery Drain Issue is still very much existing 

2)The proximity sensor issue during call is also existing even after the update

3)The names in the contact list is not ordered alphabetically

4)Guys saying that the live wall paper is not sticking after a restart

I dont know how Mr.Safal got everything cleared by the update 😐

I guess the biggest mistake was from our part that wee bought this Xperia C. Am too having the same proximity issue. ii went to the service centre yesterday and they only updated the latest firemaware. nothing changed. I any one who has got the solution for this issue kindly post it here. because we know that Sony is not going to post any of the solution.

I was purchased Xperia C on last Sunday (6 Days ago).

Now i am facing  issue of proximity sensor.

When I call to anyone than my screen is totally blackout

and wait for cut the call from other side.

Please give solution for same.
