The reason for that multi user functionality has not been implemented is the amount of RAM (1GB) so i'm afraid this feature is not supported on this phone.
I was surprised that it wasn't included on the C3 but then again it could be due to the limited RAM (1GB) this phone has.
perhaps @Rickard could comment on this.
It is a great feature, I use it every day, but I don't know if the C3 can handle it.
When I updated to lolipop with all the apps in kitkat it always showed a free memory about 250mb while in kitkat it was only about 100 or less. So I think c3 can manage this. I had been waiting for lolipop about 2-3 months because of that great feature. . .but I was shocked when I came to know that it was not there. Very much dissapointed. After all there were a lot of bugs also. Realy the both cam became useless. Its so frustating. . .so i downgraded to kitkat now. Hope that sony would fix all these bugs and include that feature also. Still have trust on Sony.
I believe that Sony should know about the camera problems. That is why the rolling process is only for India and Taiwan until now. I also want to have multi user support. However, I don't think it can be achieved due to the 1G ram limitation!
Xperifirm and flashtool are good for the user becuase I can roll back to kitkat anytime when I get problem. However, someone may not know how to use it. It makes them feel frustrated!
I just hope Sony can fix the camera bugs ASAP. For me, the main function of a smart phone is to take photo, phone call, whatsapp and browse the webpage. Please make sure user can be happy with this BASIC function!
Lollipop or Kitkat?? I don't care.
Anyways, thanks for the update. I know it take time.
Thank you again!!
I'll try to find out more about why this feature is not available. It might be its hardware requirements but i'm not sure.
