The reason for that multi user functionality has not been implemented is the amount of RAM (1GB) so i'm afraid this feature is not supported on this phone.

I was surprised that it wasn't included on the C3 but then again it could be due to the limited RAM (1GB) this phone has.

perhaps @Rickard could comment on this.

But it must be include.lolipop has a very efficient ram management system. I think sony should have included that feature also.

It is a great feature, I use it every day, but I don't know if the C3 can handle it.

When I updated to lolipop with all the apps in kitkat it always showed a free memory about 250mb while in kitkat it was only about 100 or less. So I think c3 can manage this. I had been waiting for lolipop about 2-3 months because of that great feature. . .but I was shocked when I came to know that it was not there. Very much dissapointed. After all there were a lot of bugs also. Realy the both cam became useless. Its so frustating. . .so i downgraded to kitkat now. Hope that sony would fix all these bugs and include that feature also. Still have trust on Sony.

I believe that Sony should know about the camera problems. That is why the rolling process is only for India and Taiwan until now. I also want to have multi user support. However, I don't think it can be achieved due to the 1G ram limitation!

Xperifirm and flashtool are good for the user becuase I can roll back to kitkat anytime when I get problem. However, someone may not know how to use it. It makes them feel frustrated!

I just hope Sony can fix the camera bugs ASAP. For me, the main function of a smart phone is to take photo, phone call, whatsapp and browse the webpage. Please make sure user can be happy with this BASIC function!

Lollipop or Kitkat?? I don't care.

Anyways, thanks for the update. I know it take time.

Thank you again!!

Cam is an important part of a smartphone.but in the latest vesion of kitkat and lolipop its not working properly. . .I updated to lolipop with great expectations. But it becomes worst. So I downgraded to kitkat. The cam in kitkat is far better than in lolipop expect in the case of bug in flash and video capuring. Now waiting for the next update from sony.

I totally understand what you are doing . I downgraded it to older kitkat, the flash light is fine. Only problem is the back cam focus problem of video taking. Use fx_5 for video taking is ok. However, as you know, I can only save it to internal memory.

The version you mentioned is the build number lasts in .391, right? But that version has a bug in focusing not only for video but also for stills also. So even there is a flash problem in the latest version of kitkat(.72 build number) we can manage it by adjusting the exposure and by using the torch mode in flash options. So I perfer .72 version to .391.

I'll try to find out more about why this feature is not available. It might be its hardware requirements but i'm not sure.
