DSC-HX60V - lens stays extended

My camera is stuck with the lens extended. I tried using a different battery, plugging in the charger, and resetting the camera to the factory defaults. When I do the latter it retracts the lens and then extends it again, but the power button does nothing. Is there no on-line support?
