I've often wondered why some keys have three digits on them. What are they for and how are they accessed ?
Do you mean like $, 4, and €?
You get the third one, in this case €, by pressing Alt Gr plus 4.
Thanks for your reply. On the front bevelled edge of some of the keys there are the digits 0-9 and / etc. How would I access these, and why would I want to? curious
This is the numeric keypad and you turn this function on by pressing the NumLK key – to the right of F12.
Some software may require numeric characters to be entered via a numeric keypad.
You can access the digits etc by pressing number lock. As to why you would want to - sorry, can't answer that one! But someone soon will, I'm sure.

I am not sure why people use it, maybe it's for accounting purposes god knows.
