I just bought a VAIO VGN-FS215Z. The sound volume is very low with the notebook speakers and also with earphone. I checked the configuration of the audio card but the problem is always here. Can help me?
Start>Control Panel>Sound And Audio Devices>Advanced and then make sure that Wave is turned all the way up.
Make sure you turn up the volume of the media player you are using too
Also check the volume setting in BIOS.
there`s only notebook loudspeakers .........you may not have large expectations

If your general audio is a problem then your sound card has taken a battering. If it is a codec problem like AC3 then get this codec pack K-LiteCodecPack BSPlayer in this pack has an equaliser that also has a preamp. If you turn up the preamp that will kick a lot more volume out than normal max setting. You get to it in BSPlayer if you right click and choose equaliser.
