HELP!!! my vaio is hanging

i just got my vgf-ap1 back today, cause it was broke. i tried to upload the firmware, and since then it´s hanging. it doesn´t do nothing, it doesn´t even turn off. the display is only white. is there any other way i can turn it off or reset it?

There is a little reset button (on the bottom i believe)

You need to locate it and press it with a toothpick or similar.

Did the reset button work. I have also tried loading the firmware update and ever since have been unable to transfer any other music over. Keeps telling me that the device/media not connected
