How to remove DRM in SS4.0

Anybody knows how to remove DRM in SS4.0???

I would like to remove DRM, reload VP and download it in my Holidays laptop and my Officce laptop without creating again new libraries from originals.

Hiya,

Yes you can remove the DRM in Sonicstage in versions above 3.3. All you need to do is convert the format, and then make sure the "add copy protection" button is not selected. The conversion from atrac to atrac still retains any gapless playback you may have.

I have recently installed 4.0, since then, my player has been acting up.

When you select a song, the blue drive symbol goes around but nothing plays, through sonicstage, it says that the licences are gone, SO, I've reformatted it and wiped 37 gig of music off, on reinstalling the back-up, 99% of the music will not transfer back!!!

Never mind, this is what us Vaio Pocket/SS users are used to I suppose.

I wonder whaty percentage of the problems we face are based on the various versions of SS?
