How to remove the intro vaio sound?

Hello!

I am a new owner of a vaio notebook, but i wish to svitch of the vaio start sound, how do I do it.

It is not compatible with my work that it makes this sound on startup. The windows sound are all silenced, but the vaio start sound stays.

Can anybody help me?

Or simply press F2 when you see the VAIO logo and turn off the sound in the BIOS

Just go into control panel (make sure its on classic view). Click sony notebook setup>initial setting and uncheck the sony boot animation box. Alternativly you can do this in the BIOS but this way is much easier.

No he gave the instructions for doing it in Windows, mine are for when you boot up
