keyboard removal

Hey all,
my problem is i need to remove the keyboard on my sony vaio VGN-A417M because my brother spilt coke over it the laptop is foine but some of the keys are realy sticky and stay down when u press them, i dont want to take the keys off because ive done that before and i couldnt get them backon so i want to take it off completely, their are three little catches near the space bar that release the bottom but the top and middle are still firmly in place, has anyone removed one before or know what i am doin wrong i dont want to force it.

Hi Boywonder and welcome to the forum.

There are two screws either side of the memory slot compartment, on the underside of you notebook, that you need to remove before you release the catches. Have a look at your on-line manual - page 160.
