New computer

I have just got a new computer and have installed sonic stage 2.1 from the CD that came with my VAIO onto it. I have previously put songs on my vaio from my old computer. But on my new one my Vaio is not being detected. There is no error message, it just is not being dected at all, although I can get onto it through My Computer so its not a problem with the driver or anything. Can anyone help?

I take it you have copied the .oma files from the D:\SonicStage\Packages file on your old PC? are these files in the same place on your new PC?

yeah had the same problem as u but i downloaded the other upgrades of the sony site:

http://www.vaio-link.com/vaiopocket/firmware/firmware.asp?l=en

u need to have all of these installed on you computer and the firmware for your Vaio pocket because they wont run without each other due to some compatibility issues.

i did this and mine worked so i advise u to try it
