Hi Everyone
Anyone can help me,i have buy one battery for my VGN-FS115M,the battery is not original from sony, but work´s grat, but with one problem, every time i turn on my computer shows a caution warning, saing that the battery is not original.
Is there any possibility to take off this Warning
Thanks for Help
STORM
Yeah how did you do it???
Joop.
please ...........tell us:smileyconfused:
Here is the solution :
delete the file : programfiles\sony\utilities\isb untility\isbmgr.exe
or simply search for the isbmgr.exe and delete it.
If system said "File can not be deleted - Access Denied" Simply restart laptop in SAFE MODE (Usually using F8 key) and delete the file.
And that´s it,now just enjoy the battery time without any warning...
Best Regards
STORM
Thanks,

Will have to remember that one
I wondered what the 'isb utility' was for, does it serve any other purpose does anybody know?
I ask only because I have done a clean install of XP Pro and didn't install the isb utility, however everything seems to function properly and I seem to have all the original Vaio functions (hotkeys etc) so I'm just curious.
Tells you how many cycles the battery has used, how long it has left (running time and percentage)
Thanks Kee-Lo - much appreciated
I love this place, everyone's so helpful:smileypeace:
Glad I could help
