screen settings

Hello everybody,

I have a brand new VGN-S series
I'm curious to know if I have a problem. I don't like to use my screen at maximum brigthness so I adjust it when I turn it on... but when I restart my vaio the brightness is set again to the maximum level.

What shall I do? is there any way to keep the brightness to the level I desired?

I am not familiar with your model but in my power settings I believe I can specify screen brightness on AC Power and Battery Power

My default setting is "9" on AC power, so reducing and saving that figure should achieve the desired result.

Sorry if all this is a bit vague but I am sat at my desktop.
