The black screen problem under Windows Vista

Hello people i heard that many Vaio users are having this problem under Windows Vista.
I have a VGN-FE31B i installed Vista ultimate recently (10 days ago), but i have this problem of the black screen, when i close the lid and re-open it, i cant remove the black screen, untill i restart.
Any solutions ??

Try updating your BIOS. Go to the Support/Downloads/Drivers and Updates page for your laptop.

If that doesn't work, you could try what I did. Set the power button to Sleep or whatever it's called in Vista. That way, when you open the lid and the screen is black, you press the power button once to send your laptop to sleep and then press it again to wake it up and it should be as it was before you closed the lid.
