Transfer Initialisation Error

Can Anyone please help had pocket 2 days cannot transfer music with s/s states does not work with this device and also with vaio music transfer comes back with "could not retrieve the device information" any help appreciated thanks

Have you initialised the player with Sonic stage? Think this is on the tools menu. You also need a web connection so that it registers itself with the connect website

Thanks for help. I have resolved this issue by trial and error, the HD needed formatting via the settings menu, files now transferring and working OK
