Hi,
Does any one know if the XL1 Digital Living System with 200 cd/dvd changer is to be releasd in the UK. There are loads available in the states but I cannot find any here yet.

If it is any good and people want it, then Sony probably will not release it here.

Sorry to be down on this, but it seems to be the rule of thumb from them at the moment.

Well we've already had the XL100 Digital Living System released in the UK (last February), which is in fact the same as the XL2 that the US got.

What you should be asking is whether Sony will release the Sony VGP-XL1B2 Media Changer in the UK which is currently being sold on Amazon.com for US$399. They originally released the XL1 with the Media changer as a combined package, but I guess there was enough demand from other Media Center users for them to release it as standalone product, and fairly reasonably priced at that.

Chances of the UK seeing it though are pretty slim I would have thought, perhaps with the XL3. Don't hold your breath!
