vcd playback?
Anybody know a way to allow vcd playback on the vaio vgn series laptop's:smileyconfused:

I put in the CD and it works. I think every player-software is able to play a VCD. Windows XP has the codec allready.
Just for MPEG2 you will need a codec. But every VAIO cames with all needed codecs.
Sure that is it a VCD?

Yeah i have hundreds of VCD's from Thailand(not filth) and none of them work on my vaio vgn-fs115b but will on most other dvd players.

Maybe it's a Player-Region thing.
Just try one of this Region Free players. You will find a few on.....
