Why a partitioned drive? Why so little space?

Hello, i recently bought an FS215B, and i have to say i am very disappointed by the hard drive. It's supposedly 60GB (i know you have to allow for the OS etc) First of all it's partitioned. Why is that? Secondly it's more like 35 GB. My C drive's total size is 27.9 GB, yet there is only 14GB free!!! How much rubbish is on there! My D Drive has 20.9 GB, and has that all free. I feel very cheated indeed.

Lol domster. No honestly, say what you really think of Sony software lol.

I agree actually, everything Sony provided is gone except for the awesome Adobe pack. It annoys me intensely that D:\ should be for documents, when My Documents sits on C:\ and lots of programs insist you use it, as well as Windows insisting to some degree as well.

Yes this is a crap configuration, but easy to fix.

Rightclick on the folder "my documents". Properties. There you can select the place which you want.

For example D:\my documents\

It will shift all your docoments to drive D:\

Wow. I've seen several guides on how to move My Documents and none of them just said Right Click and choose where to put it!

Hehehehe:smileygrin:

Don't forget, Rightclick is the God-button of Windows.

You could do all with it. Virus-search (Avast or AntiVir for example), file compressing (with 7z for example), HDD derfrag (like with O&O defrag).

All what you need is the Link in the Context menu.:smileyhappy:

I love the right mouse button.
