Hello forums,
i have a problem changing different input language. If i change from default English to Lithuanian, no Lithuanian symbols appear, everything stays as it was still in English. I tried changing to Russian, to see if it is just a bug with Lithuanian input, - Russian works fine. Perhaps there are some shortcuts for typing Lihuanian symbols that i don't know?
Thank you.
Hey there, I wonder if you long press on the letter that you want a symbol with does it give you the option. For example if I long press on my O on my english standard keyboard I get a whole row of o's with stuff above them... no idea what language they belong to tho!
It does absoutely nothing if i press on random letter and hold for a while. Or it just changes letter into number (if that key has blue number).
Darn it, this is where its so frustrating not having the same phone that I can test stuff out on. Must be another difference between the big and mini.
I wonder if you got a qwerty keyboard from the market if this would help, rather than the dialer type one that you have as standard.
Sorry I couldn't help, maybe someone else can come up with a solution.
Oh yes, i got it. You can type Lithuanian symbols, but only with touch screen keyboard!
Hardware one doesn not work that way
Thank you for a guidance :smileyhappy:.
But have you tried the Sym/au key on the hardware keyboard.
Oh, it has to be PRESSED DOWN while typing. Who have been guessed that?
Thank you all! I feel stupid right now
So your problem stands solved right?
Yes, it is. I just didnt figured out that you need to keep holding Sym button, while typing.
Happy to hear that.
