What is the meaning of the small x in notification line

I have a small x on right side of WiFi symbol. Any one know what it stands for?
If i turn off WiFi the x disappeares. It is located where H+ and other down/upload symbols normally stand

It means that your mobile data is disabled.

Exactly, this appeared after Nougat update. Happy we could help
